History
Bayview Glen P.S. was officially opened in 1962. Originally, it was a K-8 school, but in more recent years, it has changed to a K-6 school. When the students complete their primary and junior years at Bayview Glen PS, they continue learning at German Mills PS for grades 7 and 8.
Our school motto is "Bayview Glen – A Caring Place to Learn".
Facilities
Bayview Glen Public School is located in an attractive residential area of Thornhill, adjacent to a wonderful park owned and operated by the Town of Markham. The building has 10 classrooms, a gymnasium, a resource centre, a computer lab, a conference room, and administrative offices. The playground has a paved area with a large open field, and a baseball diamond, surrounded by many shade trees.
